When she needs you and you wish you could be there for her

When the sun comes up or goes down or it rains or shines or snows or hurricanes rip the quaking Earth to pieces and the heavens are rolled back like a scroll and the moon is covered in blood and the stars fall into the sea and Gabriel blows his horn and Jesus Christ himself comes down and looks you in the face and pronounces final judgment on you

You are alone
You have been tasked with learning this lesson
And you insist on forgetting it
Remember God’s wisdom

There is no salvation in this world

Celeste will go on her way to the end ordained for her by God
But that does not include you
She is not coming to you
You must go alone
You cannot manage human relationships
You can do other things but not that
You must abandon your wasted hope in that
Celeste will be your friend
She will be kind
But she will forever be far off

Look now away from your illusions and return home to the abyss of despair
