Celeste came back from a Valentine’s day vacation in Hawaii and broke up with me.

I respect and love her very much.

I feel a deep painful wound opening that will never fully heal.

Love always ends with the last scene of The Searchers.
Trying to get to the last scene of Raging Bull.

I must not let the pain kill me. I’m stronger now. I think I shall survive.
If the good lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise.

I hear the words Johnny Cash said to Rick Rubin over the phone after June Carter died and Rick asked him if anywhere inside of him, he had the faith to carry on.

And Johnny Cash replied., in a clear strong voice,

“My Faith is unshakable.”

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.
