Movie Premiere Dream
If you remember nothing else from me, remember that you are a Holy Woman who is worthy of all the love, magic, and miracles there are. And that the universe was created to hold the love I have for you, regardless of what happens or when.
I dreamt of meeting T — at a work conference in a hotel last night. He was innocuous and indifferent to me and quickly left to go to a work meeting. Not mean just indifferent and nonpresent. I was left standing in the big lecture hall thinking this was all wrong and not where I belonged.
Then suddenly the conference changed into the biggest film festival in the world and I kept seeing friends and artists milling around. Somehow I knew I was going to a screening of a film. Jim Carrey was taking tickets like a Sundance volunteer but I didn’t need a ticket I just walked in and said something that made him laugh. Then inside, Steven Spielberg was waiting by the screen and he said, “I’m so glad you two could come. I hope you like this more than the last one”.
And I said I loved all his films. He didn’t respond and just said, “I made them save you the two seats next to me,” and he pointed at these two big comfy, conjoined reclining seats. He said, “Don’t worry, she’ll be here soon.” And I didn’t have to ask who he was talking about, I just got really excited and said, “She’s coming!?” And he said, “They just told me she’s on her way. She got held up, but she’ll be here soon. Don’t worry, though, I’m going to stand up here and make them hold the screening until she gets here. I know she wouldn’t miss this for anything”.
He rushed me off to our seats, and then the lights went down and we were all sitting quietly. It was the biggest theater I’d ever seen. Way bigger than Eccles. There was light spilling in from these double doors, and Steven was explaining that it would be just a few more minutes. Then I heard the foot steps of your Sundance boots and I saw your shadow moving in the light coming through the doors and I stood up and yelled as loud as I could and everyone looked and you came into the room and everyone exploded into cheers and you were so scared you jumped and then laughed and then Steven hugged you and pointed at me. And you saw me and smiled and came over, and I hugged you. You said, “I’m sorry I’m late,” and I said, “I would have waited a dozen lifetimes for you.” And you said, “Thank you for coming,” and I said, “Molto always, C — ” and then you started to kiss me, and I got so excited I woke up and you were gone.
But I didn’t cry this time.
8:23 AM
The Lord is in control. I know my place. My path. My purpose. I know where my love and I belong. I will wait for you to come. I will pray for the raven’s return. I will be there and saving you the seat by me from now until either Christ returns, or you do, or I go to seek you in the life after this one.
